This little girl was fun to color, although I admit I'm not too sure how to color curly hair. I will have to try and look find a tutorial on that subject sometime. This card is being entered into the the Stamping with Markers Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. They have a challenge to use markers with stamping in an innovative way. Well, I'm not sure there's anything innovative about my marker use, but I did enjoy the challenge!

Stamping with Markers Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
I created this card so I could practice coloring stamped flowers with Copic markers. I still have a long way to go to get the shading and shadowing correct, but I'm pleased with the results so far. This card will get entered into the Stamping with Markers Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

Stamping with Markers Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
I created this card to enter into the Stamping with Markers Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. I'm new to blogging, challenges and Copics, but am having a lot of fun through this learning process. It's also great to carve out a little time for myself to create. It's been a while since my baby has been occupying most of my time day and night!

Stamping with Markers Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
I just started working with Copic markers and I LOVE them! Of course I have a LOT of practicing to do before my coloring skills look fabulous, but I'm having fun in the process. Coloring hair is certainly a technique that needs to be practiced. I'm also entering this card in the Copic Creations challenge #44 to use warm colors.

Papertrey February Blog Hop Challenge
I just recently discovered PTI and just received my first shipment of supplies today. So I dove right in and am participating in my first blog hop!
The challenge this month is to use scallops in some way. I used two of MS punches to create the background border strip. I used a scalloped circle punch and stamped the sentiment. PTI Chamomile ink was used to age the die cut flower and scalloped circle.
I plan to give this to my Grandma for her birthday next week. Happy hopping!

Make it Monday challenge
I made this card for my little cousin who is celebrating his 12th birthday today. The candles were made using Scor-Tape, Martha Stewart glitter and Stickles (for the flames). I combined two sentiments from Papertrey Ink's Think Big Sentiments #1 and used their number dies to create the twelve. There's also some stickles on the "wish" part of the sentiment.
