Pure Poppy Poppies

This week's Tuesday Trigger at the Moxie Fab World is just screaming COLOR!

Isn't it just fab? I just love the bold colors! So that was my focus.

Red, aqua, and yellow. I tried to add elements in each color in threes for balance since each hue was so bright and bold. The poppies were colored and cut out from PTI Pure Poppy cardstock and I think it really gives them some pop, not to mention the dimensional adhesive that's underneath them! The red triangle background has a vintage frame stamped repeatedly in a pattern and embossed with Kaleidescope embossing powder. The yellow triangle has a script pattern stamped with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I didn't have any ribbon in the aqua color so I colored some white silk ribbon from May Arts with Tempting Turquoise ink.

I was also inspired to pair this Tuesday Trigger challenge with the Case Study challenge and this lovely Muse by Silke Ledlow.

I kept the original layout that Silke used and just changed the colors to red, aqua, and yellow. Lots of fun!

Thanks for looking and happy Saturday everyone! The weather is gorgeous today so we'll be taking the baby out to enjoy it!
